Web - Evaluate the Interface Design

Portfolio Web Page Concept.




The Loading page to the main interface was first going to be a boot up screen (Dos based) of a standard start up from a PC. Simple white text on and black background. after coming up with the hole concept of the main interface this type of loading screen would not suet.
For the final loading screen i will keep in simpler to the interface. Ill use a colorless crayon as the loading bar. The crayon will remain colours less until the loading process starts and the crayon fills with colour.
Sound will be kept minimal. The only sound i will use is the sound of the hand eating the crayons.
Im not sure how flash will handle photos on the hand monster. ill have to experiment with different resolutions to keep down the file size.

The New Deal web site is an advertisement page for an urban musical based animation.
This flash site is simple to work your way around. Easy to use navigation and straight to the point.
The site only have five different areas to navigate too which include Video, Synopsis, Gallery, Characters and Creative Team.
This site is setup to sell or advertise the animation. I would say its aimed at network/business type people.
The simplicity of this site is what makes it engaging. the characters give the site a colorful and inviting feel.

Microbot Codename 23

This site is a Portfolio based sit. It shows off the creatures skill in design and illustration.
The hole site has eight areas to navigate around which include Maine, About, Setting, External, Root, Artwork, Logos and Unsorted. The site is aimed at getting a job or getting the creators name known.
Some of the Flash scripted navigation is a little hard to work. The most interesting thing about the site is that the end user can customize the look of the site to suite them. which includes colour, sounds ect.

Goanna Is a Portfolio site designed to advertise the skill that the owner of the site has. The site is broken into three branches of content which is subdivide into sub categories. The main three areas are Portfolio, Presentation and Comment.
The site is aimed at companies who what a product advertised.
The site is quirky and enjoyable to explore. grate animation and sound make it engaging.

Kids Cerberus

This is my design for a Kids version of the Greek myth The Cerberus.

Its a story about a box man in a box wold struggling to find inspiration.
Ill post the full movie tomorrow. i would do it now if the file size (100mb) was smaller. im to scared to compress it because of the audio, so ill upload it over night and it should be up HERE in the morning.

MUG! Complete

MUG! is complete. For a first time at animating a full humanoid character in 3D i think it turned out ok. . . it has its problems. Oh yeah It has no audio. Enjoy!

AGIdeas Update

Mr. Box man has had a face lift. I was told its more of female Box Man. . . I think its a bit sexually confused.

For 3D class we have to build a simple character and make him do a task. I call him Mug.

Turnaround

Almost finished one very rusty Turnaround.
The class was given a brief to create two characters then dump them into Flash and turn them around.

Little Help from the GURU.

Almost finished texturing the hole thing and 'NO' i didn't steal the textures from the Web. I made the textures in Photo shop after taking photos of boxes with my trusty camera phone. I also have shot some Volumetric lighting through the 'Box window curtains'.
The little bit of dust floating around is thanks to my 3D guru Dan the 3D man. Top bloke.
